2022 Ford E-350 Cutaway Engine and Performance Options
The E-350 Cutaway offers two different engine options to choose from, depending on how much power you need.
The first is the standard 7.3L V8 premium-rated engine that puts out 350 horsepower and 468 lb-ft of torque.
The second option available for the E-350 Cutaway is a 7.3L V8 economy-rated engine. This engine focuses more on fuel efficiency than power. However, it still offers:
- 300 horsepower
- 425 lb-ft of torque
Both engines work in tandem with a Ford TorqShift® 6-speed automatic transmission with a tow/haul mode that compensates for grade and load conditions.
2022 Ford E-350 Interior and Exterior Dimensions
When turning our attention to the size of the 2022 E-350 Cutaway, there is plenty of space for the driver.
The interior dimensions of the Cutaway offer…
- Headroom: 42 inches
- Shoulder Room: 68.1 inches
- Hip Room: 65.6 inches
- Legroom: 42.1 inches
This leaves plenty of room for taller drivers who can be comfortable for long periods driving the E-350.
The vehicle offers a Dual-Rear-Wheel (DRW) Cutaway and a Single-Rear-Wheel (SRW) Cutaway, depending on what you need from your vehicle. Depending on which you choose, you'll get some slightly different measurements. The E-350 SRW has an overall length of 241.1 inches, while the E-350 DRW is 261.1 inches long.
The height of the E-350 does not change too much between either configuration. The SRW is around 80.4 inches high, while the DWR comes to about 80.3 inches in height. The E-350 DRW Cutaway is wider at 94.9 inches in comparison to the SRW, which is only 79.4 inches wide.
Ford E-350 Cutaway Safety and Driver-Assisting Features
The roads are crowded, and you want to keep your trucks and drivers safe. The Ford E-350 Cutaway has an option to add driver-assisting and safety features to your vehicle.
Some of the available features are…
- Adaptive Cruise Control: This cruise control system uses both radar and camera tech. You set a cruising speed and distance from the car in front of you, and this feature will slow down with traffic.
- Forward Collision Warning: This system alerts you to a potential accident with the vehicle ahead of you. If an accident is imminent, the system will warn you and then prepare the brakes for you.
- Lane Departure Warning: Using a camera, this system keeps an eye on your position within your lane. If you unintentionally drift out of your lane, the system will warn you, and if it happens more than once, it will suggest a break.
