The Ford Blue Advantage Program has two levels of certification, Gold Certified and Blue Certified.
To earn a Blue Certification, a vehicle must be 10 model years old or less with under 120,000 miles on the odometer. It will also need to pass a rigorous 139-point inspection.
A Gold Certified vehicle has tighter criteria. A Ford must be under six model years old with less than 80,000 miles. In addition, this vehicle will have to pass a 172-point inspection.
Both inspections will cover various vehicle parts-from the engine to the interior-to ensure the model is functioning safely, up to Ford standards, and how it should.
