Making Sense of Your Ford Fiesta Maintenance Schedule

We know that you may not be a certified Ford technician, but you can still learn how to keep your vehicle up-to-date on service and maintenance. Your maintenance schedule is organized by mileage. Each mileage interval will correspond with a few services that you'll need to have performed to keep your Ford Fiesta lasting for the years and miles. By following your maintenance schedule, your Ford Fiesta will perform smoothly for a long time.

Ford Fiesta Service Intervals & Recommended Maintenance

  • 10,000 Miles. At this visit, you'll need to have your oil changed and your oil filter replaced along with your tires checked and rotated. You should also have your cooling system, hoses, exhaust system, brake pads, shoes, rotors, and lines all inspected, as well as your steering linkage, ball joints, and drive shafts. All of these services should repeated every 10,000 miles.
  • 20,000 Miles. On top of the previously listed services, you'll need to have your cabin air filter replaced.
  • 30,000 Miles. During this service interval, you'll want to add and engine air filter replacement to the list of the many other services you'll have performed.
  • 100,000 Miles. Between 30,000 miles and 100,000 miles, everything is repeated services occurring every 10,000 miles. At 100,000 miles, you'll need to have your platinum spark plugs replaced and your orange coolant changed. At this interval, you'll also need to have your accessory drive belt inspected (keep having this inspected every 10,000 miles). 
  • 150,000 Miles. At this specific service interval, you'll have a lot to take care of with your Ford Fiesta. On top of the usual services, you'll need replace your oil pump drive belt, your timing belt, and your accessory drive belt if you have not yet already replaced it. You'll also need to change your coolant and your automatic transmission fluid during this interval.
