We've seen sport trims on midsize sedans before, but never like this. At this year's Detroit Auto Show, the Blue Oval did more than unveil its refreshed, 2017 Fusion sedan. It also unveiled the Fusion Sport, which clocks in with a metric trunk-load of power and performance chops that's certain to leave competing models in the proverbial dust.

Under the hood, Ford has employed the Mustang's 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 with some minor adjustments to raise the power to 325 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. That blasts competing sport models--even those equipped with V8 engines--clean out of the water. There's also an arsenal of performance features such as anti-roll bars and variable-damping shocks in play for more driving fun.
