Can Any Ford Become A Certified Pre-Owned Ford?

Only Ford vehicles that meet the criteria set by the Ford Blue Advantage program can become Certified Pre-Owned Fords. We have two categories of Ford Certification, Blue and Gold Certified.

In order to qualify for a Blue Certification, a Ford must pass a 139-point inspection, have less than 120,000 miles on the odometer, and be under ten model years old.

A Gold Certification is only available for Ford vehicles that meet these criteria:

• Under 80,000 miles on the odometer
• Under six model years old
• 172-point inspection

Both Blue and Gold Certifications also require a CARFAX® Vehicle History Report™ that meets Ford's strict standards.

Who Certifies These Fords?

Any technician who is Ford factory-trained is authorized to certify Ford vehicles. Our dealership has factory-certified technicians prepared to inspect any pre-owned Ford for certification.

What Happens if a Part Doesn't Meet Ford's Standards?

During an inspection, a part that doesn't meet Ford's rigorous standards is repaired or replaced with a factory-authorized part. This ensures that our CPO Ford models all meet the same set of expectations.

Does the Ford Blue Advantage Program Include a Warranty?

The Ford Blue Advantage program offers several warranties, depending on the Ford's certification level.

Blue Certified Ford vehicles come with a 90-day/4,000-mile comprehensive limited warranty.

Gold Certified Fords come with a 12-month/12,000-mile comprehensive limited warranty and a 7-year/100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty that is backed by Ford.

Does the Ford Blue Advantage Warranty Come With a Transfer Cost?

No. The Ford Blue Advantage warranties don't cost the buyer anything. It can be transferred for free.

Can Ford Blue Advantage Vehicles Be Financed?

Does Ford Blue Advantage Offer Roadside Assistance?

The Ford Blue Advantage program does offer roadside assistance for both Blue and Gold-certified Fords. Roadside assistance services include:
