The F-250 has a standard TorqShift® G 6-speed selectshift automatic® transmission with this engine. However, the F-350 has a standard TorqShift® 10-speed selectshift automatic® transmission with all three of its engines. The F-250 only gets this transmission with its top two engines. The F-350 gives you a little bit more in terms of towing and payload capacity. When properly equipped, the F-350 has 35,750 pounds of maximum towing capacity. This whopping towing capacity allows you to tow things like:
