The cabin of the 2022 Ford Escape has a sophisticated and accommodating feel to it. Some subtle alterations from previous model years make it an even more enjoyable place to spend time.

One of the evolutions that started a few years ago and continue into 2022 is the rotary gear shift dial, which gives the center console a more open feel while also increasing front-row comfort and space. The available panoramic Vista Roof® is a headliner, as well, stretching to the second row so that each passenger can enjoy the sky above their head.

You can opt for specific styling packages, too. Depending on the package you select, you can enjoy traits like:

You'll quickly find that the 2022 Escape interior has enough room for your cargo, your family and friends, or some combination of the two. In fact, the Escape has a total passenger volume of 104 cubic feet.

Thanks to well-positioned seats and a stretching roof, the headroom checks in at 40 inches up front and 39.3 inches in the second row. Legroom is a plus, as well, measuring 42.4 inches up front and 40.7 inches in the rear.

The technology inside the cabin of the Ford Escape remains intuitive, user-friendly, and immersive.

With the combination of SYNC® 3 and Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™, you can quickly link your smartphone to the SUV. Once you're hooked up, enhanced voice recognition gives you the chance to access controls on the touchscreen display with spoken commands.
