Breaking Down Your EcoSport Maintenance Schedule

This maintenance schedule should be pretty easy to follow. You'll see a list of miles, but you'll also notice a list of corresponding services and inspections. These are your Ford EcoSport's service intervals, and each one adds some more types of service and maintenance. You'll also need to repeat most of these services, so be sure to remember when you had those services completed, so you can plan ahead for your next service interval.

Ford EcoSport Maintenance by Mileage

  • 10,000 Miles: Your first service interval includes some important services, such as the oil change, oil filter replacement, and the tire rotation. This visit also includes less standard maintenance inspections for the following elements of your EcoSport:

  • Cooling system and hoses
  • Exhaust system and heat shields
  • Automatic transmission fluid
  • Brake parts, including: brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums, lines, and hoses
  • Steering linkage
  • Ball joints, suspension joints, half and drive-shafts and u-joints

  • 20,000 Miles: On top of all the services that are listed above, this interval adds a cabin air filter replacement to the growing list of recommended services.

  • 30,000 Miles: At 30,000 miles, you'll add an engine air filter replacement to your Ford EcoSport's services.

  • 100,000 Miles: After 70,000 miles of repeated services, 100,000 miles is a big point because it adds some significant forms of service. This includes a replacement of your platinum spark plugs, changing your Motorcraft Specialty Orange Engine Coolant, and an inspection of your vehicle's accessory drive belt(s), which will need to occur at every service interval from here on out.

  • 150,000 Miles: At 150,000 miles, you've got plenty of services and inspections to have performed on your Ford EcoSport. This visit entails a complete inspection of your vehicle's systems and components. As for service, this interval includes another Orange Engine Coolant replacement, a change of your automatic transmission fluid, and you'll have to replace your vehicle's accessory drive belt(s) if you haven't had them replaced yet.
