Ford Ranger Specs

This Built Ford Tough® pickup certainly lives up to the name. While the F-150 was built for work, the Ranger was definitely built for play. The vehicle includes a 2.3L EcoBoost® 4-cylinder engine. This turbocharged engine blends exceptional performance with efficiency. With the new 10-speed automatic transmission, the Ranger aims to deliver a fun and spirited performance, no matter what terrain you're tackling.

Off-Roading Package & Options

 The 2019 Ranger offers a more compact frame and stature, but certainly provides a commanding presence when out on the road. Drivers who love adventure may want to consider getting the FX4 Off-Road Package, which features off-road-tuned shocks, all-terrain tires, frame-mounted skid plates, and a heavy-gauge steel front bash plate.

 The Ranger also offers a higher ground clearance, making it easy to climb any off-road obstructions or obstacles that are in the way. This package also includes the all-new Trail Control™ system, which takes over the braking and acceleration, giving you an off-road cruise control type of experience.

Available Features & Technology

Riders of the Ranger will be happy to know that the Ford Ranger comes with some impressive features; however, upgrading the features brings a lot of fun and convenience to the ride. This includes SYNC® 3, which adds Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ to help you incorporate your smartphone into the infotainment system. FordPass™ Connect also brings a 4G LTE modem, which provides Wi-Fi technology that's able to connect up to 10 devices.

On top of the fun features that are available, the Ford Ranger offers a suite of driver-assisting technology features to aid drivers on the road. The Reverse Sensing System and BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) are the eyes on the back of the Ranger, alerting drivers when vehicles are approaching the blind spot or if there's an object in the path during reverse driving. The Lane Keeping Assist and Lane Departure Warning features ensure that the vehicle remains on its intended path. The Automatic Emergency Braking system can detect an imminent collision and provide enough brake pressure to give the driver a window to respond and stop the vehicle fully to prevent a crash.
