Inspiring You To Drive With Confidence: Ford Co-Pilot360® Assist 2.0
In the same vein as all other Ford models, the Ford Explorer wants to look out for your well-being each step of the way. Modernized technology is key, and the iteration comes with Ford Co-Pilot360®.
Essentially, the Ford Co-Pilot360® system is a mashing of different safety features to provide the comprehensive protection you deserve. BLIS® or Blind Spot Information System is one of these features, giving you an extra set of eyes on the highway and alerting you to vehicles in your blind spot when attempting to change lanes.
Other features that come with Ford Co-Pilot360® Assist 2.0 include:
- 360-Degree View Camera (with Split View)
- Adaptive Cruise Control with: Stop-and-go, Lane Centering, & Predictive Speed Assist
- Lane-Keeping System with Alert, Assist, & Road Edge Detection
- Evasive Steering Assist
- Front Parking Sensors
- Intersection Assist 2.2
- Pre-Collision Assist® with Auto Emergency Braking,Dynamic Brake Support, Forward Collision Warning, & Intersection Assist
- Post-Collision Brea
- Auto High-Beam Headlamps
If you want to go above and beyond in the safety department, there's the Ford Co-Pilot360â„¢ Assist+ option, which introduces even more protective features.

FordPass Connectâ„¢

Connectivity is another big part of automotive technology. The Ford Explorer can connect your smartphone using the FordPass Connect™ application. When you make this connection, you'll have access to your SUV even if you're not in its immediate vicinity.
The application itself is capable of doing quite a bit. For example, if you happen to break down on the side of the road because of a flat tire, you can contact roadside assistance and even track the vehicle as it comes to help. If you're just talking routine service, the application will give you reminders about oil changes or tire rotations that may be needed.
From there, the list continues to grow as FordPass Connectâ„¢ is also capable of:
- Stopping or setting a departure time
- Checking fuel levels, oil levels, and more
- Locking, unlocking, and starting your Explorer remotely
- Collecting points that you can use to receive discounts on service or your next Ford model
Ford Digital Experience
