2017 Ford Focus Entertainment Technology
The base level Ford Focus is equipped with a 4-speaker sound system with speed sensitive volume control-a system that raises your audio level to compensate for loud engine performance. This trim features an AM/FM radio and a CD/MP3 player that can be accessed through the 4.2-inch SYNC® screen. An upgrade to the next trim levels increases the sound system to either six speakers or 10 Sony® Premium Audio speakers.
When you upgrade your Ford Focus, you'll notice a variety of different entertainment features that are available. You can select the SYNC® 3 as your infotainment system, which increases the screen size to eight inches. Other upgrades include a 6-month trial subscription to SiriusXM® Satellite Radio, which adds more than 150 different stations to your audio entertainment. HD Radio, also available, lets you listen to AM/FM stations at a much higher sound quality.Â
Ford Focus Convenience Technology
The Ford Focus offers a variety of difference convenience systems in place to add a little ease to your driving. You have the option of selecting the Intelligent Access with Push-Button Start, which saves you the trouble of digging out your keys, because the door will open and the car will start as long as the keys are within range. The Dual-Zone Electronic Automatic Temperature Control, available as an option, allows you and your front passenger to set your own desired temperature.
Adding a massive layer of convenience is the SYNC® system that was mentioned earlier. This system features Enhanced Voice Recognition, which lets you select your media with your voice. You can also select phone contacts to call through the Bluetooth® system. If you opt for the Navigation System, you can use your voice to set your destination, and the system will deliver turn-by-turn directions while showing your GPS location.
  Ford Focus Safety Technology
At the base level, this vehicle features the MyKey® system. This feature is a programmable key that you can give to your teen driver. It sets the maximum speed limit to 65 MPH. It also prevents the stereo from playing until all passengers are buckled.
The Ford Focus features a rear-view camera. This feature gives you a view from the rear of your vehicle. While providing a projected path on the screen, this feature will add ease and precision to your reverse driving.Â
