Both the Chevy Silverado EV and Ford F-150 Lightning offer versatility in terms of power-each with two powertrain options.
The 2024 Silverado EV hasn't announced its battery options yet, but the electric truck hopes to hit 510 horsepower to start and power up to over 600 horsepower with another battery option.
The 2022 F-150 Lightning is all set to go now. You can order either the standard-range or extended-range battery. The standard-range battery starts with 426 horsepower and the extended-range battery kicks things up a notch to an impressive 563 horsepower.
For additional versatility, the F-150 Lightning comes standard in a 4x4 drivetrain, giving you the ability to head off-road. You've even got a few drive modes to choose from:

The 2022 F-150 Lightning and 2024 Silverado EV can work on jobsites or help with home projects. Both trucks have some features to lend a hand.
The Silverado EV has only announced a few features so far, but one of them is the available Multi-Flex Tailgate. You can open the tailgate as you need to manually or by using your key fob.
