The standard engine is a 6.2L V8 that generates up to 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. The alternative 7.3L V8 kicks out 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. For the most power, though, upgrade to the 6.7L Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel, which delivers 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque.

How can the diesel engine produce such substantial power? It's armed with cutting-edge systems, such as a 36,000-psi fuel-injection system and electric-actuated variable-geometry turbocharger. With these features, the diesel engine provides a consistent throttle response and potent pulling power.
